Good job we didn't employ the same logic in 2007 and get rid of Turner, Marney, Ricketts, Windass, Ashbee, Dawson, Myhill. After all, we finished 21st with that lot.

With the best will in the world we were reliably informed Acun has no backers....
...and that's despite Ulker being rumoured to be involved from the start but it's just a massive coincidence he's ended up in hull and fancied watching the game...

No one said there were no backers in the form of sponsors, people said that Acun solely owned the club, which was made crystal clear by the club.
EDIT: Just realised you were quoting someone who looks like he's again desperate to be praised for being right even though he's still wrong.
Could be, I've heard different things about how long the Corendon Airlines sponsorship is, some say it's three years, I've heard a season; unless we're buying out of that I can't see it changing. If he tries to buy his way in, that would really take the biscuit.
Maybe Ulker just likes to hob nob with famous people at the world renowned MKM.
Pelkas is a free agent, I'd keep him. Never get anywhere near £8M for Greaves, if we did sell him it'd be closer to £2-3M. Someone mentioned Connolly's injury was, that his head had gone again, if this is true then it'd be better to avoid this, but I can see Rosie being a bit soft with this one and try and take him under his wing.
Is that some of the earlier Survivor finalists stood behind Acun and Murat? Maybe hooked and got season tickets now!
I don't know if it was the same lot but there was a group of what appeared to be guests of Acun in the North stand, being filmed by a camera crew all game. Someone said it was the winners of the Greek Survivor this time.

My only knowledge of the show is the clip City posted last year of the group being told they were going to Hull as a prize. I thought it was a group of winners but I guess they were finalists.
Agree about Greaves, hopefully we keep him & he gets better with us.
Pelkas is a waste of money, there has to be better for less money.
Connolly, I like him, caused trouble to the opposition when he played, but don’t need a lot of drama.
Really, where did this state of mind suggestion come from? We've had a factual sad case of it before with Brian Lenihan, but it remained sealed until he retired/was forced out by Slutsky? Is the Connolly rumour just that or is there some substance behind it?
