Yeah, I suspect the same. But he signed a new 3-year deal until 2025 under Shota on the back of a decent 6 months where he linked up well with Greaves and KLP last season. But he got injured in pre-season and we’ve since changed system under Rosenior and no longer play with wing-backs. We either sell him in summer or just loan him until his contract ends but he’s at an age now where he needs regular games. He’s not a kid anymore. But weirdly, Matty Jacob and Callum Jones have recently signed new deals despite being in their 20s now and are nowhere near the first team. Vaughan is 18 and starting games whereas Matty Jacob and Callum Jones are 21 and 22 respectively and have never played higher than League One.

It’s crazy Jacob and Jones have got new deals when players like Jarvis are going to leave for nowt.

Acun says a lot of things to generate excitement and enthusiasm. Think I'll wait and see.

Remember last summer when he promised we'd spend most of our transfer budget on a forward who would guarantee goals before we picked up our two forwards on frees and who are both now sat out the rest of the season?

But the one back saturday scored 13.

Such terrible recruitment eh?

Lose KLP and your dogs namesake.

Finish way up the table.

Naive recruitment.

Righty o.

Jog on.

Again, based on what? They’re about the same in terms of quality. Greaves hasn’t been as good at left-back last month or so but he’s been good when coming back at centre-half. He was brilliant yesterday. Only reason Greaves was moved to left-back in the first place is because Rosenior wanted more height in the team to defend set-pieces so having both Greaves and McLoughlin was necessary over having Greaves and Fleming.

Greaves actually moved to left back under Andy Dawson, his first game was against Blackburn at home.

He got 15 in the Portuguese premier league, without a doubt he would. He’s still the biggest goal threat in the squad.

We’ve gone a full season without any consistent quality out wide. The only time we remotely looked like we had it was Tetteh early doors when Oscar was potent
Are we saying Oscar is now impotent? I can imagine that’s tough to find out.

But wasn't that only a stop gap John?
I think Kalman is correct, Rosenior moved him to LB again and kept him there, using the logic Kalman mentions (height). Elder isn't small and would have been fine, plus he's actually a LB!

I was slightly wrong, Daw's put Greaves at LB first against Birmingham, then played him there in every game (4 games) up until Boro when Fleming played LB. Liam's first game was Millwall where Greaves was but back to LB, So my point was that Daw's was the one who played him there first, and Liam reinstated him after Fleming played one game there.
