Surprised I've not seen it mentioned but in Acun's interview on RH at the weekend he was asked if we'd bid a second time and he said (with the caveat of his usual slightly confusing way of talking) essentially "Yes, to show we're serious we've given them what they want and now it's up to them. If he doesn't come it won't be because of the budget, it'll be because Derby don't want to sell him."

I thought it was a surprisingly direct answer, albeit he might not have meant to say exactly what he said.

Alan Nixon reporting that Palace are now letting Rak-Sakyi leave on loan. Potentially the young English winger we’re after?

After watching a piece on the athletic about how modern transfers work its probably just down to Derby now. We will have approached Bird and his agent and agreed personal terms. Be interesting to see if we meet the valuation but I can only guess the potential Tetteh money is helping

From the national Daily Mail, seems unlikely.

Given that we know Connelly was signed in response to Tetteh's move, I think it's safe to assume we wont be signing another striker unless someone else leaves such as Oscar.
