I think if Scott Twine were to sign for us, it wouldn't happen soon. There seems to be every indication that Kompany wants to give him pre-season to assess whether or not he's in his plans.

Burnley is already a week into their preseason, so maybe the timing won't be as long as perceived.
My source might be talking crap then! Been accurate with everything recently so trusted them on this.
Apologies if it doesn't happen this week but as of a couple of weeks ago we were 100% in talks with him which is an absolute fact. Since then, I've been told it had progressed and likely to be this week along with Bradley. We'll see I guess.
I really can’t see Twine signing permanently, would be a really weird move for him and Burnley.
Maybe Burnley was the weird move for him,you can have lots of interviews and meetings and decide on a job but after a few months think to yourself
"**** i think i made a boo boo" and then inform your agent to maybe talk to a previous potential move that you decided against for whatever reason that you would like to to be considered again and you are sorry for making the wrong decision in your opinion previously.
I don't think any move would be a loan.
