He certainly wasted his talent, when he could be bothered an extremely gifted player, but like many very talented players, he was flawed and just didn't seem to want to put the work in.

Loved it when we signed him (for a few days at least). The Newcastle fans I worked with struggled to come to terms with the fact that we had taken him from them. I really thought we had made it as PL team.
