****ing hell, how many wingers/attacking midfielders do we want? I count Longman, Allahyar, Sinik, Williams, Pelkas, Tetteh, Salah and now another loanee as all being capable of playing as a winger in a front three.
Then you look at Keepers and full backs and think **** me. how isn't this a priority?

Options are probably limited. Personally, I’d rather be developing our own young players than developing players for another club.

Yeah, pointless signing in my opinion. Signing all these players now may seem fine as we’re short on players due to injuries, but they’ll all want game time.

True but Allahyar, Sinik & Salah are injured (Allahyar & Salah for a while) & it's debatable if Longman & Williams are up to it

I asked this question on the fans forum on facebook and was ripped to shreds for it. No idea. It's an important question. What was the point?
Can’t be too long otherwise we wouldn’t have surely. As he’s been injured since Arsenal went to the USA so they’ll have been well aware

Think we see him as one for the future anyway. Getting him in and letting him settle whilst injured should help in the long run
He's on loan though. If his for the future, we'd have signed him permanently surely? An injured loanee just doesn't strike me as a future investment.

To be fair, I think that’s why we send them to you. Definitely benefitted Tomori and Aina and by all accounts Baxter too. Not sure how much Simons will play although he can play about six positions but I’ll be shocked if Vale isn’t a regular.

We have the option to sign him inserted in the deal at a fixed price. He’s only 19 clearly was rated very highly at Arsenal as they didn’t want to put it in.

We have an option to buy, I think they very much see him as a long term signing. Maybe we've done it this way for ffp, or to see how he adapts to the mans game.
