Wonder if Pelkas is coming across with Acun today if it’s as close as reported. He was having a meal with a couple of Fenerbahce players in Istanbul last night so could’ve been a goodbye.

Is there a backup plan now he isn’t coming or is it Pelkas and that’s our signings finished?
 
I’d stick a bid in for that Sunderland striker Ross Stewart, whilst they have a bit of uncertainty. Even if it’s mischievous. He looks a real handful.

I'd go for Godden, but he's very injury prone. Maybe Gyokores would be a shout actually.

tetteh and allahyar can also play there if estupinan is injured not even counting a.smith

we need a winger and left back that can cross

You said yesterday that our forward line needed more and our defence was fine.

Allahyar is out until after the World Cup and Smith has one league goal for City. We absolutely do need a striker. And a defender.

Shame about the Brentford striker as he clearly wanted to join us. Hopefully the other player we have lined up is just as good.
