Wouldn't say no to another centre half

Interesting that Steve Ogrizevic said of Christie on Humberside that he 'had the attributes' to play right of a back 3 as well as fb/wb.

If we can get someone to add cover on the left with that kind of versatility then we should be set defensively.

Heard a few days ago that Brentfords move for another striker has fallen down hence the knock on effect on Dervisoglu coming here, though still anything can happen on deadline day.

Agree that we'll probably have another go for him in Jan.

Neither would want to play second-fiddle to Oscar. We’ll get probably sign some youth striker from the Prem.

Maybe but I'm not sure. I don't think it'll be someone ****, that doesn't seem to have been our recruitment.

While I'm sure they wanted Halil, the longer it's dragged, the less likely it's become. I'm sure we had a few targets in mind anyhow

There was some talk (probably BS) from Leeds fans that City were trying to sign Leeds' young Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville, 20 years old on loan. He has played on loan in the Dutch lower leagues for Den Haag and Dordrecht. Not the biggest of players but has played for Netherlands U16 to U21s, so would be very well known to Peter Van der Veen.

Absolutely, Brentford could have a contingency if they didn’t get their target over the line, and so could be on again.

Was talking to a family member who is pass holder at Middlesborough. They are desperate to sign a striker, as are almost every club in the Championship (though they have the money to spend). Apart from gloating that we have discovered one, a part of me wondered why a striker would actually come to us to play second fiddle to Oscar, when they can be the main man anywhere else?

Because we are Hull City.
