I agree completely. I really don’t give a **** about his career unless we’re due some add-ons because of it. I find City fans’ obsession with ex-players bizarre, if I’m being honest.

I’m just glad we didn’t go full-cringe and retire the #11 shirt after we sold KLP like Brum did when Bellingham left.

I'm interested how ex players do I like to see how Bowen is doing and I will follow KLP but obsession is well over the top. Nowt wrong with it in my eyes.

I'm interested if he bags a winner in the Premier league, or even starts a couple of games.

Orgasmic responses to a 2nd round League Cup goal against opposition 3 tiers below in his only start to date is a bit OTT for me.

Hope the lad smashes it, but a long way to go.

Still reading the thread but I ain't found any orgasmic responses yet.

Hyperbole is a wonderful thing when trying to dismiss someone else's opinion.

Opinion is not hyperbole though. A straw-man argument, as you've informed this board of before is equally wonderful when trying to dismiss someone else's opinion.

Of course what counts as hyperbole, misinterpretation, opinion etc is usually subjective.

I'm always interested to see how players we have developed unless they have said something derogatory about the club or prefer to go elsewhere during their U21/18's time. For example James & Tymon I never bothered seeing how they were doing. Generally, players, we have bought and moved on, once they have gone then have little interest in how they are doing.

Let's get this thread firmly back on track and chat about City related transfers and potential targets. All this chat about tax matters and inane ramblings is getting tedious. I suggest if people like to chat about PAYE or Orange's ex missus then start a different thread.

I've shamelessly skipped to the end of this thread, just to ask, who the hell is "Orange"?

Seriously, I have no idea.

It's an ongoing investigation being carried out by Vern to clear up the reasons why McKechnieorange's best mate made a play for his ex Mrs.He's no nearer a conclusion despite it taking up a sizeable 'Segment' of the thread thus far.In my opinion,it's a load of 'Pith'!!!

He’s peeling back the mystery and squeezing every last drop out of it.

The plot thickens as every day passes. It transpires Orange's best mate was a bit of a weasel and sensing he had an opportunity to make a move he did just that. It is not clear at this stage whether Mrs Orange was being wholly truthful with the facts. Was the deed done? Just to muddy the water slightly Orange's best mate supports Rochdale. One suggestion made is that it could be Gary Barlow.
