I think its a shame personally. If his chances are limited then I wonder how long it will take for him to regret allowing his agent so much influence. Early days though.
I bet he's already wondering if it was the right choice. It's not like we were expecting him to stay forever and he'd still have got a contract on decent money too. I'm pretty sure 62 mins in the first 3 games wasn't what he was expecting.
His bank account won't mind....good luck to him but he's gone so really aren't fussed what he does or doesn't do now
He probably wouldn't have earned less in the long run though. He'd have got pushing £20k a week with us, he'd have stayed for a season, done well in this side and then we'd either have gone up and he'd have a large promotion increase or he'd have gone to Brentford most likely on a bigger contract than he is now
As I say...good luck to him and hope he does well, but I aren't going to seek out what he's doing etc
We sold him for a good price and in return were able to bring in many new good players. sure KLP is good but we finished bottom of the table with him. We needed a change
We were nowhere near the bottom of the table, and if we could have kept him, we would have - and been stronger for it.
This thread now appears clogged up with tax matters and the alleged infidelity of oranges mate with his ex missus. Give me strength.
I just saw a load of bratfut on twitter telling city fans they'd poached our best player. Assume that's why.
Is there a limit to the number of foreign players allowed? As long as we meet the home grown quota I thought it didn’t matter? I imagine this is after Pelkas anyway
No. But since brexit we can only sign 3 foreign players under 21 in a single window and 6 in a season. We can have 8 loans but no more than 5 in a squad. Think those are the only things that' changed recently - as long as we have 7 'home grown' in any squad of 18.
I agree completely. I really don’t give a **** about his career unless we’re due some add-ons because of it. I find City fans’ obsession with ex-players bizarre, if I’m being honest. I’m just glad we didn’t go full-cringe and retire the #11 shirt after we sold KLP like Brum did when Bellingham left.
