I suspect Jacob is hanging out to get the best deal possible, you don't accept the first offer on the table. He signed the last one in November 2020 for 3 years with an extra year at the club's option. So there is plenty of time and no need for him or the club to rush things. However, I'm sure his new contract will be much better than the last one he signed, so I guess he will be keen to sign sooner rather than later if he is committed to staying!

It says in the article this one is in addition to the 2 already mentioned.
I understood the article in yesterday's HDM to say that 2 were fairly imminent and we were hoping for another 2 after that before the deadline closes
We certainly need some more as with these injuries we are very short of numbers.
That is a shame that Boro have beaten us to his signature but I suppose to the neutral they are a far more favourable option given last seasons performance. Hopefully we will have more pull to land better domestic targets in January.
Agreed. I think we’re really lacking pace on wings. I was hoping to see Sinik on one side and Williams on the other. But that’s not going to happen now!
Very much so, with both Willam's and Sinik out as well as Longman, and KLP gone, we are desperately short.

The article says in addition to two PL players, one of which is a number 10.m and the other a defender.
Not sure they can pull this off but he’s a decent player and would add depth.
Seen one Brentford fan on Twitter state he could compete with Toney for a starting place, so if that’s true he’d be a great signing.

Forss didn't have a great time here, but he isn't the ridiculous donkey that City fans now make him out to be. We're always very harsh towards on-loan strikers.
