I think you will see us play a higher back line once we get all the players in and settled. That in turn pushes the midfield high up the pitch, where they can have an effect on the game at the sharp end.

Against Lesta, we were pushed back to deep, which then leaves us passing the ball around our back line, but against Championship sides, I am sure we will see a more effective midfield and forward line because of the above.

I'll bet it's a lot for Brentford.

It's a big one for Brentford, yeah.

Hı guys. Im Galatasaray fan. Im following Hull city since Acun bought the club
Sympathetic club. Good fanbase
But you guys panicking too much. This isnt right thing to do

You played against strong Premier League side and because of the result so many fans are panicking so much. This is wrong.

First half we played good against their B team and most of the championship clubs arent at their B team level.

Dogukan,Tetteh will join soon and another transfers such as Nwakaeme maybe Pelkas so our squad will be good.

IMO we have big chance atleast for play-offs so dont feel sad just for friendly games.

Friendlies are for seeing your weakness and new players adapting each other and tactics.

Sorry for my english not great. I just saw negative comments and some fans feels sad and ı want to write my feelings.

Don't think anyone is panicking too much about the result, but the way we set up to play was a cause for concern given the weaknesses in the squad last season still seem to be evident despite bringing in more attacking quality.

Nobody is reading too much into friendlies though.

City needs talented energetic b2b ımo then problems solved. Ozan and Seri they are not energetic and tackling and high pressure against opponent isnt their attribute

Nwakaeme will be great addition to the squad. He is dribling magician very talented. His age isnt that ımportant because
his dribling ability isnt based on his pace he can pass opponent by walking
Last year he played great against Roma also.

Dogukan,Nwakaeme both are good addition for attack.

Im confident about transfers but ım not sure about Shota. Time will tell.

After Sinik, Tetteh and possibly Pelkas, I’d be amazed if we aren’t in for another right-back and a defensive midfielder. It’s the two areas that are more of a priority than signing another winger like Nwakaeme.

I don't think we have many wing options to be honest...

Completely agree, Youssouf Ndayishimiye looked perfect as he can play in midfield and could also give us cover at the back. I'd be staggered if we didn't sign one in this window, it would be a major cockup

I watched Tufan during the warm up and by **** is he good. He's incredibly technical but he's still a fair way off it. I think he's about 6 weeks off it realistically so it'd be nice if we could bring in a Pelkas asap as it would mean we could ease him into it a bit more.
In one of the seasons we got promoted to the Premier League, didn't we get bummed 4-0 by Crewe in pre-season?
yes but I am also guessing that we did have a shot on goal. Yes pre season and all that but let’s have at least the creation of a shot on goal.

Cant imagine it will be Pelkas and Nwakaeme. One or the other, otherwise we're overloaded with wide forwards.

Definitely need a ball winner in midfield to get the best from Seri and Tufan and there would definitely be room for increased competition at RB as I'm far from confident in relation to Emmanuel's fitness.

Allahyar, Longman, Sinik, Williams, not to mention Wilks, Scott and a few academy players who could be given a chance. As of right now, we’ve lost KLP and replaced him with Sinik. If we really need another one, we can loan one from a PL club. Pelkas, if he signs, can also play there.

Wingers shouldn’t really be the priority right now. There are far more important areas we should prioritise as a lack of a good right-back and physical, ball-winning midfielder will bite us on the arse, I’m sure.

I’d prefer Pelkas as he can also play as a number 10. Nwakaeme might be good but for the high wage he’d likely command and his age, Pelkas seems the better value of the two.

100% this. Id love Ndayishime as he covers centre back too. Big unit can play and wins the ball back very well. Add Pelkas to it and give Randy Williams a run of games as I think his dynamism makes him more dangerous as Coyle.

I think you may be underestimating the level of some championship clubs.

I think I agree, though Nwakaeme might be the one more likely to make an instant impact.

Cant say I see Williams as the answer at WB. Great going forward but you've got to defend equally well in that position and I don't see that in him.
