Exciting times. I don't know much personally about these players, but they do seem a step up given where they are coming from.

Top half....then who knows!

No mate. Huge mistake not to sign Honeyman, Huddlestone, Eaves, Smallwood on 30k a week each and expect better than 19th.

Isn't Pelkas more of a 10, but Nwakaeme a left forward?

Pelkas plays both roles. Nwakaeme is definitely a left forward.

Baz’s articles whenever mentioning the mystery signing keeps mentioning the desire to replace KLP/Honeyman and Pelkas seems to do both to me.

Pelkas also seems to be friends with Acun. Would lend to the theory that Acun is persuading the player.

He has been linked though. So is it really a mystery or was it just dependent on Fenerbache signing Josh King?

I’m struggling to remember this window when we was linked in a positive way by a reputable journalist in England or Turkey. Baz’s only previous piece on him to my recollection was that we wasn’t going to go for him.

That’s where I’m thinking the whole ‘not linked’ thing is. Purely theorising mind.

It wasn't Baz who linked him, but I still think this qualifies as a positive, reputable link on 3rd June 2022

Hull Live’s lesser known journalists do these pieces quite a lot when a new name gets thrown up by random Turkish outlets but maybe so.

I do wonder how much the top hierarchy keep up to date with who has and hasn’t been linked in the press. A name that all us who follow it may fly underneath them.

Yeah, but you'd expect Baz to know if it was in his own paper? AFAIK it's Baz who's saying not linked so far. Club are saying nowt 'til it's out I suspect, and Baz is obviously embargoed until it is also.

Stop fantasizing of a top 2 finish...!

You're getting all excited and premature again.

It is an awkward one because the calibre of players is of such a level that we are building a top 2 squad. Seri and Oscar especially are PL level signings without a shadow of a doubt and Tufan is probably as well once he's fit.

Sorry mate, we're an unknown quantity this year if you ask me. Massive potential but I expect a few glitches.

If you re read the posts which led to the one you've just replied to, and engage 'double entendre' mode. You'll probably realise you've been whooshed though. <cheers>

Oh, don't worry I got it, just thought the subject needing switching quickly, very quickly actually :emoticon-0136-giggl

On the 30th July at 3pm there will be 11 players on the pitch and half a dozen on the bench representing Hull City.

Don't really care where they came from, their stats, how much they cost or how much they get paid as long as they give their best and don't **** about.

I do care where they come from. Yes players coming in from abroad are both necessary and exciting, but I want to see a strong British contingent too. Gutted KLP went, but obviously not a lot we can do about that one. Davies going to Rangers for 3m plus add ins, that kind of British deal is within our grasp, imo of course.

He wanted parity with the incomings and to feel he had an equal chance of selection when everyone's fit. The club obviously felt he wasn't worth what was earmarked for incomings so he left. What part of that don't you get?

You're quoting a post from 24 hours ago, why are you trying to drag this up yet again? People complain that I get into back and forths but you seem desperate to argue about something everyone else has moved on from.
