Pelkas plays both roles. Nwakaeme is definitely a left forward. Baz’s articles whenever mentioning the mystery signing keeps mentioning the desire to replace KLP/Honeyman and Pelkas seems to do both to me. Pelkas also seems to be friends with Acun. Would lend to the theory that Acun is persuading the player.

I’m struggling to remember this window when we was linked in a positive way by a reputable journalist in England or Turkey. Baz’s only previous piece on him to my recollection was that we wasn’t going to go for him. That’s where I’m thinking the whole ‘not linked’ thing is. Purely theorising mind.

It is an awkward one because the calibre of players is of such a level that we are building a top 2 squad. Seri and Oscar especially are PL level signings without a shadow of a doubt and Tufan is probably as well once he's fit.

I do care where they come from. Yes players coming in from abroad are both necessary and exciting, but I want to see a strong British contingent too. Gutted KLP went, but obviously not a lot we can do about that one. Davies going to Rangers for 3m plus add ins, that kind of British deal is within our grasp, imo of course.
