4 at the back gives 6 positions for those 7 and id expect Slater or a new DM to play so suddenly its 7 in 5. That's without counting Traore when he's back.
Yes I know its a long season and rotation but these guys will want to be starting every week.

Easy. With 5 subs. And there'll be more than just a new 10 also.
I think we have identified that to have a crack at promotion you not only need an excellent starting 11 but depth throughout the squad.
With the games condensed due to the World Cup in November we are going to have more Saturday/Tuesday’s - I expect a lot more rotation this season so don’t think players need to worry about game time.
The biggest uplift for me is to have two ‘potentially’ excellent international players up top. A huge change from Magennis and Eaves. This alone should change us from bottom 6 to top half.
Top half is a reasonable expectation. There's a lot of changes to bed in this window, so think top 6 is a bast case aspiration this season really.

I think with the added quality we should comfortably be looking at top half. Particularly as apart from those on parachute payments there are a lot of clubs shuffling about with frees as we used to. Who knows from there but it should be a fun season.
Based on budgets available alone, you would think we should easily be finishing above;
Rotherham
Reading
Cardiff
Birmingham
Preston
Bristol City
Blackpool
I know teams can over perform and surprise a few (aka Luton and Huddersfield) but think top 12 is very achievable.
I think they must be eyeing top 6 minimum this season, and if we don't go up from that then top 2 the following season.

Need to sell more tickets to fund this lot otherwise there will be trouble ahead.
