We've been spending a lot more money besides the KLP money. And spending wasn't dependent on KLP going.
Scott got left at home for an 18 year old who’s been at the club a month.
According to Baz we've already been spending the KLP money. Makes me wonder what happened to that big pot of money we were going to spend on a striker which seems to have vanished. 16m for KLP covers the Ally, Tufan and Sinik fees with a bit left over for wages..
Wilks just has sell on value, although I’d keep him around for continuity as he’s a big personality, Scott just doesn’t seem or sound arsed just happy to collect his wage every week. And Wilks travelled with the squad. Writing both of them off feels a bit premature.
You think the fees or wages make up the majority of contract?

Not a huge amount. Seri and Traore's wages are unknown so would probably take spending beyond what we're getting up front for KLP, but I wouldn't say we're pushing the boat out too far as things stand. What happens over the rest of the window remains to be seen, but considering we were dreaming of a 10m striker coming here and we've ended up with two free signings, you would think if a chunk of the KLP money was being reinvested, we would be seeing spending of close to 20m on fees + wages. Baz saying we've already been spending based on KLP going suggests we won't see a huge amount more splashed about.
Which I'm fine with IF it's reinvested in the Academy and training ground.

The way he’s played since his big move. He is still young yes but he just has never impressed me on the pitch to show to me there’s a player in there somewhere.Based on what?
Estupinan might be a free but he's scored goals at a higher level than Muriqi ever has. He's also younger too. He's an unbelievable transfer and pretty much the best striker we've been linked with this summer. If we'd have paid £10m for him, I'd have still said it's a good deal.
Tetteh seems to be much more well rounded albeit less potent in front of goal. Whereas Estupinan is a killer and very direct. We didnt spend big koney of transfer fees under Duffen and Brown, but we did pay decent wages.
You think Seri, Figuereido, Tufan come cheap?
Don't disagree. But I don't think his sign-on fee + wage is remotely near what we were supposedly budgeting for our marquee signing. Which should mean there is money to be invested elsewhere beyond what we've received for KLP.

He'll be on close to £40k a week though, surely?
Where would you spend the KLP money? I don't think it's an easy call.
I specifically referenced Seri in the second sentence of the post you quoted.
I agree, as I doubt many of these incomings are coming on contracts that aren’t 5 figures. Although that is the average these days. Fans need to buy in too as Tan said in the interview otherwise investmeny will soon slow down and we’ll plateau.I would be a bit worried if we were paying anyone close to that. It's how sustainable spending becomes unsustainable very quickly. Our accounts will make for interesting reading.
