Didnt we sell Bowen for a potential £25m with only a year or less remaining on his contract, unless we also had an extra years clause.

He had 18 months to go inc the years option but was also the reason we had to get him shifted in January. We could technically wait till Jan for KLP, but it's a risk and haven't we learnt from the Bowen situation that losing a key player in Jan is far from ideal

Losing KLP would be a bitter, bitter blow to us.

This season here at Hull City is a huge opportunity for him too, as I would have expected it would have been for Honeyman.

And no disrespect intended to Brentford at all but another good season here either individually or as a club and I’m sure KLP would be setting his sights higher up the food chain.

Most of us expected him to leave though he received some silly **** comments during the season
It’s good money and it’s time to replace the prefabs and finally improve our **** facilities at the training ground
****ing embarrassing.

When he is gone good luck i hope you have a great career and lose every game we come up against you, now hopefully the club will re-invest and make the team stronger and it looks like they are doing a good job.

And wait till you try get past Greaves and Big T.

Decent business for Acun and City, £15m for City signings and £5m for the Allams to trouser. Acun's "I wouldn't sell him for £30m" is looking a little bit naive now or was he just talking up KLP's fee. KLP's agent was been hawking him round the PL clubs from the get-go of this window, I think the U21 call-up opened KLP's eyes and made his mind up to seek pastures new.

It was Robbie Brady who "fell down a hole" according to Steve Bruce. You have to imagine he was being a little bit creative with his words there.

Tan did seem to be managing expectations on his readiness to play in that sports-talk interview. Perhaps it was already known but they think he's worth the risk?

It's a odd one, did we push him to much? Did he push himself to much to try and impress/prove his fitness? Was it just complete and utter bad luck?
