lets hope Shotas team tells him how to run with a ball.......... I lost count how many times he fell over it, when its at his feet.

Yeh it really felt like he was trying to do too much, pressure of stepping up a division? playing in a struggling team? Hopefully surrounded by better quality players he might kick on.

Given Ally and Traore are still waiting on announcements, not necessarily. <laugh>

It really is odd this. Why any club would want to keep it quiet that they've signed a player is beyond me, but particularly for City and Acun in the position we're in, wanting to prove that we're moving forwards, and in his case clearly wanting to talk the club up, why would you not take the opportunity to publicly announce signings. Bizarre.

Hearing about a couple of things that have gone on in the background, there's a chance we haven't had the funds to send Fenerbahce for Allayah so he might not be 'official' just yet.

I think with Traore, it's just a bit awkward doing a signing announcement for a player who can't actually play for six months.

Did someone at the club already say that it wasn't announced because he was already viewed as our player? Ally that is.

If that was true, why would we have tried spending £10m on Muriqi?

As I'm sure they are trying to get the background funding in place, but it probably hasn't cleared yet. Seems odd that Tufan has signed though if what I have heard is correct.

That one sort of has an explanation, but if he got injured while training with us as has been reported, then they'd already decided not to announce his signing at the time it happened before he'd got injured.

Even then, I think pretending not to have signed the player at all is more awkward then just saying he's signed but is unfortunately injured.

It seems possible that we could soon have players turning out for the club without it ever actually being confirmed that they've been signed by us. I don't think I've ever heard of a situation like it before.

My feeling is that Figueiredo was more important, but in terms of reputation Seri is some coup.

I don't know much about him, but I really think the experience in the back line will be welcomed. And hopefully helps greaves development.

Tan said in the Humberside interview that Ali was done and dusted and was our first signing having triggered the option to buy, and that personal terms were agreed some time ago as was widely reported at the time. lf that's not an announcement then what is? It's a bit daft doing an official unveiling video 6 months after they just did one. What will they do, just repeat the one they did already?

Why would they make that decision though? It's just free publicity and hype. Why on earth would you not want to make a fuss about a new signing. There must be some other reason.
