I'm not falling for the bullshit, like I said earlier there's nowt going on and it's at least summat to talk about. No idea who that page is but they seem to be announcing things before it’s happened. People falling for the bullshit too
Why should kit be a hold up?Kit has been the hold up, think Baz mentioned this already.
Meant on twitter not you mateI'm not falling for the bullshit, like I said earlier there's nowt going on and it's at least summat to talk about.
Ok mate.Meant on twitter not you mate
Hope it’s true though, that page just seems to thrive on spreading nonsense and has been doing for the past few days
We aren’t very good at this kit lark are weWhy should kit be a hold up?
I'm just glad they're keeping the blackout kit for our third. We aren’t very good at this kit lark are we
Hope so, couldn’t see a league 2 team paying that for someone with 1 year left. Albeit I think he’d tear that division a new one. They have just got a decent fee from Posh for a midfielder though so maybe they’re using it wiselyOk mate.
On the Orient site they've heard rumours about it from a source close to the Club and they're all for it.
Why should kit be a hold up?
This.Got to say trying to create the interest for people thinking about getting a membership then announcing a signing when ever one happens must get people talking and obviously the more it happens the more tempting it must be. For me personally I don’t care too much, accept the situation and know there is plenty of time yet. However increasing the membership is very important and one big way is showing intent and Creating that interest. Hopefully though things will start to happen very soon.
So you’re not actually saying the players suffered, their pain was just monetary.
As stated earlier, proportionately, hardly any players got any bad rap for leaving and I’ve never read/heard anyone criticise Moses O for getting injured. But I have read/heard of fans criticising him in how he responded to a contract offer he deemed unworthy of him. This after an age on the treatment table.
The Club with some sense (and now evidenced by hindsight) offered him reduced terms. Could he not have taken reduced terms for a year or so to prove himself and repay the Club/fans? Not exactly on a poor contract previously, not exactly hard up, not exactly going to go hungry or **** up his future.
Here is where we disagree I think.
You seem to see the players selling their labour as an almost soulless transaction: everything being measured by this as a monetary value. Whereas, I see the loyalty to the fans, the heart of the club, as highly important, both on a human and socio-cultural level.
You're right, I wasn't saying they suffered. I did mention Odubajo suffering an injury, maybe that's the source of the confusion there.
I wouldn't say I see it as a soulless transaction, but I don't expect unconditional loyalty from any player. If we offer someone uncompetitive terms, they're going to leave, and it's just not realistic to expect otherwise. That happened with disproportionate regularity at City in the Allam era but thankfully it's stopped now.
My stalking shows me Figueiredo wife has just started following City on instagram, so that's a done deal
Private to you maybe…Some intense stalking that, her Instagram seems private
Or did you check the recent followers on the City page?
