It's a loan

Not sure this would be a good loan move for him.

He needs to be playing games and no way are they signing him as No.1. He’d go there as No.2 and would potentially bench warm for the vast majority of games, unless he manages to usurp the No.1 – and that’s an if.

I’d rather see him signed by someone lower down the trough, where he was going in as No.1

They don’t have a keeper at the minute, their number 1 was on loan and their number 2 has been released

I think he'd be going in as their No1

They're signing two keepers.

If he was going in as No.1, that'd be ideal for him and us.

But they're going for promotion. I can't imagine they'd put their faith in an unproven young GK for that task.

I just got used to saying Al’s full name, now I’m going to have to learn how to pronounce a number of players if all these rumours come true!:emoticon-0118-yawn::emoticon-0127-lipss

Not necessarily. A player isn't automatically bad once they're over 30.

Signing older players who have never played in England before is more of a risk than signing younger ones though. It’s no secret that the Championship is one of the most physically-demanding leagues in the world. A 21-year-old who has never played in England is more likely to adapt to the pace and physicality of English football than a 33-year-old who has never played in England before.

Seri will be 31 next month but he’d be worth signing on a two-year deal, absolutely. He’s not only played in this division but conquered it. Likewise, Davies is late-30s now but played every minute this season just gone.

Signing Nwakaeme, who’s played most of his football in Turkey and Israel, is more of a gamble and probably a expensive one as I’d imagine he’s on a lot at Trabzonspor.

Sources close to City's transfer activity have confirmed to Hull Live a list of nine potential new arrivals at the club this summer, with three likely to be in the door by the time Arveladze's squad return for pre-season training at Cottingham next Monday. That list of three includes Adama Traore, Ozan Tufan and Allahyar Sayyadmanesh,

Is Seri incoming? Heard its a done deal on £60k a week. Though I hasten to add it did come with a pinch of exaggeration from un ITK source.
