Unlike Docherty he's a DM though isn't he?
DM's generally have a habit of attracting criticism because they do a lot of the work that goes un-noticed.
He’s a box to box or advanced midfielder according to what people are saying.
I get there's question marks over Tufan but we're at a completely different level to Watford or Fenerbahce.
I read plenty of comments that said Allahyar wasn't great yet he's been a complete revelation for us.
Watford paid a loan fee of anything between £500k-£1m (depending where you look) along with an option to buy for £7.5m ish. He's obviously not crap and a few years ago, Fenerbahce quoted Leicester £20m.
We're getting him for £4m, it hardly seems like we're getting our pants pulled down

Ah okay. My bad. Wiki lists him as primarily a holding midfielder who can play right back or right wing.
Direct competition for George then. Suppose if he's not pulling his weight then we have someone who will.

Wonder how George will react. He’s been the man for 2 full seasons and finally has proper competition for his role.
Or Tufan will fill another spot given his apparent versatility.

That's insane business if so. Seems really sensible business again
I feel it’s miles more realistic then £4 million in one. That gives us miles more protection.
Newcastle are believed to be in the running, so i think we’ll end up getting £20m if he does go
