I do hope we're not going to have communication problems if all these different nationalities come in. It's must be hard enough getting new players to gel when they all speak the same language.

That will do nicely. Watford fans know their oats. They've seen some crap down the years.

Btw....Perhaps it would be easier to list which Turkish players we're not linked to.

In terms of quality, Tufan would be an improvement to our midfield but his fitness and attitude do concern me. I think it would be less of a risk for us to scour the Dutch and Belgian leagues for a fairly young defensive midfielder.

Callum Elder told me in a pub toilet that the players are being given Turkish lessons when they return for Pre-Season.

Would you be prepared to pay €4 million to have her cook for you though? I just think it would be a risk if he has fitness issues. Transfers are always about balancing risk vs reward.

We’re happy with spending £2 million on Allahyar because in his short time here, he’s shown to have quality and work his bollocks off for the team. £2 million is a steal. Hard to argue the same for Tufan though.
