I thought Chazz's reply about Cartwright was a sarcy response to what I said about this subject.
I’m sure being a goalkeeper must be the worst position to be in, to get anywhere, you have to be the best, even then, there’s still no guarantee of making it at a decent level. The fact that people on here are saying they’d like to see Cartwright go out on loan to a lower local team, is a bit big headed.
These local teams already have keepers, might not be interested in him, after all, unless they’re going to try & sign him permanently, he’s just there to help us out, then they’re back in the same boat.
I’m sure there’s a good few other teams higher up saying the same thing about their keepers.
It’s similar in our position with Baxter, he ultimately wants to play for Chelski, but it’s unlikely he’ll get the chance, so then he might move to us, but that then pushes Ingram down, who might want to stay, might not, leaving Cartwright in a bit of a no man’s land if he can’t get his chance, this knock on effect carries on down to the next keeper, hoping to break through.

We can sign players now (we've already signed Traore), they just won't become official City players until the transfer window opens on June 10.

If we do sell KLP, think forest going up has increased his value a bit. Made Johnson less likely to go from forest.
There is a wage cap in the National League next season so whatever has been spent cannot. Also, another odd rule is that the Welsh teams in Non-League cannot loan in players during the loan window like English counterparts
Completely agree, getting Johnson out of Forest has just become nigh on impossible this season. So that should be more suitors for KLP.
