But the Allams signed James Scott to replace Bowen, and didn't run the club shop stock down to stop Chazz spending his points....
... And they didn't say they'd signed Twine and Seri... (whilst getting grief for not announcing Ali, Traore and Tufan - who aren't as good as Eaves, Smallwood and Honeyman anyway....)
Surely they weren't all that bad?
I'm not sure if anyone else has seen but I've seen Baz get a right whack of abuse today.
Seems completely uncalled for but I think it's fair to say the KLP news especially hasn't gone down well
Whilst Scott hasn't covered himself in glory, he was on a bit of a hiding to nothing coming in as the replacement for Bowen.
People genuinely believe as a championship club we are in a position to do what West Ham are doing with Rice. It’s baffling…I'm not sure if anyone else has seen but I've seen Baz get a right whack of abuse today.

As you say. 20 mil if he wont sign a new contract would be better re-invested than allowing him to go for nowt.
City have always had a minority set of knobheads. Nowt changes.

Part of football is selling players. The problem we've had in recent times is that we've never had that many players that other clubs actually wanted to pay good money for.
I mean it's not been a great few days with Honeyman going, Seri turning us down and KLP half way out the door, but it's the progression that needs to happen.
In previous years, this would be happening on the last day of the window.
I was pretty pleased when I read it today, there's not much that can really hurt us late in the window now. I've thought for a while that it seemed a near certainty that he'd be off, I just can't believe the fee. But I did read some people on twitter saying it's not enough

Apart from his breakthrough year he's had 1 successful season in the championship.
It's good money. We've been promoted for less outlay than the figures being talked about.
Lot of it came after Mike White published a chat with Kesler, even thought it was effectively confirming what Baz had said.
Kesler said that an offer had been put in but it was lower than the valuation City had of Keane. Baz said exactly the same, only difference was he added that all 3 sides of the deal think it’s getting to an end stage and he’ll more than likely end up at Brentford.
Totally underserved for Baz.

Phil Buckingham and the Athletic published effectively the same story too. Neither of which have received anywhere near the same level of pushback that Baz has got.
That was also from Monday's chat. I've no idea why they cut it from the long interview, unless they were asked too
The Sun, who turned out to be right for once, reckoned the increased bid went in yesterday.
People seem to forget that things in the window can move so quickly and change instantly
