Do we know what our wage to earnings ratio currently is though.

I see this 143% or whatever being quoted. When's that from? The end of last season?

We've moved on some high earners since then, brought some in and who knows who's paying what for the loans going both ways.

I just feel like the wage bill should be a fair bit lower than it was. But are we just guessing right now?

There will probably be clubs that will do a loan without a fee if we are paying a large chunk of the wage and they are not in the managers first team plans for the future, like McConnell although few clubs like wba looking at him or the player kalman mentioned at Besitkas, those upstairs will have some sort of plan now, might mean paying larger wages but at least no fee.

That's from 2023/24 I think, so a tad out of date.

I reckon it'll be a much healthier ratio at this moment in time.

If we want Hadžiahmetović, we’ll have to loan him and pay 75-100% of his wages at Beşiktaş.

As Kalman has said a few times, that just makes no sense. Surely we actually own them given they're here training and we'll be paying their wages!!!

He states Puerta will go back to Leverkusen, does that mean they'll pay us for his wages since July 1st? What if we've paid him more than Leverkusen had him contracted to? Just doesn't make any sense.

Get David Fergus to ring the EFL receptionist to ask.

We'll pay his wages, it's us that ****ed up and left ourselves unable to honour our obligations, them taking him back at least removes any risk of us ended up with a loss on his fee.

Stefano Sensi is on a free. We maybe should have had a go at Ihattaren. Absolute baller seems to have sorted his head out too.

Do you think they would sell Kamara to be able to pay that amount in wages for Hadžiahmetović on loan, and do you think it is worth doing that, suppose next year you could then buy him if he turned in a good season.

I think there’s a player in Kamara, but I think w have better options. A midfielder is essential, we need to look after the ball slightly better than Palmer does away from home.

Clubs want a loan fee
FACT

To be fair we've got some very good loans in without paying fees so far. Gelhardt ("Leeds will want £5m for him this summer" lol), Lundstram and Ndala. The latter I assumed was probably a bargain bin signing at the time we got him because, after all, why would we get him when other clubs can pay a fee unless no one else wants him, but he actually seems really good so far.

Think this is only going to piss Acun off more now even though it's our fault, think he will go all out to get the players somehow needed now and in Jan to get the Club promoted this season he will find some way to do it so he can then get promoted , sell and stick to fingers up at the efl.
