Hopefully when the fee restrictions are lifted, if we have a chance, signing Ndala should be a priority. He’s really impressive.

I agree but I think we could only sign him if we go up. Man City are right penny-pinching bastards when it comes to selling fringe academy players. If he has a good season with us, they’ll end up wanting eight figures for him.

Akintola’s pace could be very useful on the counter away from home - interested to see that.

SJ wants another winger – so if Kamara stays – that will be 6 wingers: Ndala, Kamara, Belloumi, Millar, Akintola plus new player (not included JG).

Seems a lot but it’s a position vulnerable to injury and a ratio of 6 players to 2 places is the same ratio as strikers 3:1

Been away a few days - has there been any suggestions as to who the experienced midfielder is we’re closing in on? Isaac Hayden seems to make too much sense.

It is obviously very early stages but I think even the most pessimistic fan would have to admit we have looked good and certainly something to build on, I actually think we could challenge the playoffs and despite any money issues I would do everything to keep hold of Pandur and Hughes and see where we are at christmas. As for Kamara he is regularly on my **** list I must confess but he is here and he does actually contribute so I would be keeping him as we have no idea how well Belloumi or Millar will do when they come back.

Baz was suggesting last night that he'll go, as it's currently 'one in, one out'. I'm torn on him. His final actions are often frustrating but he has some quality. In an ideal world I'd prefer we kept him as an impact sub but I doubt that would be his preference, or even viable in the first place.

Agree on all of that. Although, surely selling Kamara and Puerta would be enough to see us right for a bit? You'd hope so anyway. It's interesting that we appear to have knocked back reasonable bids for Puerta already.

Maybe waiting on the decision on the embargo for Puerta. He is exactly the midfielder we need and are missing at the minute.
