Do people honestly believe they would just openly admit or discuss that kind of thing with randomers from the internet if they were involved or thinking about it etc
... and yet we're the ones apparently grasping at straws with our bleeding hands!! Incredible.

It has been a mixed bag for sure.
Please, not another one falling for the 'they're not playing for him' BS.
I'm sure you are right though that what we are seeing is not the way Selles wants his teams to play, and out of necessity (at least as HE sees it) we've recently been playing as we've been playing. I'd repeat again what Tigerscave said earlier, as I think it's absolutely bang on in relation to post-international break performances .... "it's about finding a way, and he has lost his way" (or put another way, he's chosen the wrong way).
I too would still like to see him & Dublin given a proper chance this summer to recruit and set us up for next season, irrespective of division.
the only reason i could think "they're not playing for him" is perhaps some players are struggling with how he wants them to play in order to stay in the division. Certain players body language is off, then again that could be anything. Idk, its open for discussion isn't it, everyones got their own opinions.

Selles' reign has been a mixed bag. Fantastic wins and utterly appalling losses. I'm not sure he has all of the players playing for him, certainly not since the international break. I'm also not convinced this is exactly the way Selles wants his teams to play, but out of necessity he has to with the lack of real quality throughout the squad. I'd love to see him and the recruitment team be given a proper chance this summer (preferably in the championship)

Lack of real quality throughout the squad? spent plenty of money on some experienced players and plenty more on recognised up and coming players. Do all the other teams in the bottom six lack real quality too? We've under performed again, different players and different managers but still not achieving their potential.

Only by denial that we're financially ****ed if we go down. I've not said anything about potential buyers because I don't believe anything is particularly close. We'd have heard something more conceete if it was.

Goes back to my point about the way city play, how they set up and how they approach games. Other teams around us are chucking the kitchen sink at getting results, luton vs cov a prime example. City don't do it and haven't done it for weeks and weeks. Too many passes, too many touches, lack of movement etc. It's evident Selles doesn't trust the players he has at his disposal.

Not having a settled side and swapping and changing line ups so much is a problem I think .
Maybe the lack of overall quality is giving him a selection problem .

Ah I'm a Destiny 2 veteran, game is at a turning point, if the next expansion craps out, it's pretty much done. Which you'd think would be impossible given that Bungie were literally responsible for Halo but there we go.

I used to be all over Destiny 1 and 2. Used to regularly see someone called THETIGERSOFHULL in the tower which always made me smile. Problem is it's endless nature makes it so time consuming if your brain works like mine does. It stopped me playing pretty much anything else. Had to knock it on the head one day.

Selles has made plenty of mistakes, but his players have also let him down big time. The squad is lacking so so much and thats what the manager has to deal with. No belloumi, no millar, no matazo, no proper striker, players playing out of position its a bit of a clusterf***

Marathon? It's an extraction shooter so it's different to what they've done. I played the pre release one, it was...ok. Reminded me a bit of Brink, which is about 3.6 roentgen in terms of excitement.

It isn't designed to draw Destiny players away, more to attract extraction shooter fans to the company. Can't see it being a big hit though.

yea, but tarkov is a far far far far better extractor in everyway

the marathon alpha that was just up, it looks boring, just cant see it being any sort of success, the ip may appeal to some 50 year old gamers
if its not f2p, its dead within 3 months in my opinion

Just so I'm sure, you genuinely believe they would admit it and discuss it with randomers online, you really believe people of that kind of wealth and in those kinds of businesses would do that.....

To be fair - if there WAS something in it I just think they'd ignore the messages.

I'm actually surprised they messaged back regardless but if there was something in it I suspect there would be nothing from them at all.

If there was something in it, I expect they would simply not bother replying to some randomer rather than go public saying there's no truth in it. If it came out in a few days that they were in the process of buying they would look pretty silly and be branded liars from day one. Not a good look. They aren't that dumb. As said, they'd simply not reply or else give some cryptic response, not flat out denial. People continue to try to make out there's something where there's nothing. It really is bizarre and unhelpful.

That’s because he’s had the goals coached out of him. Our main goal threat is Kamara and Gelhardt heading in crosses to the back post. Anything else is too risky and leaves potential for teams to counter us.
Disagree he’s just playing deeper to accomodate Gelhardt

Quite possibly, or they may feel ignoring it would fuel it more.... Who knows, I personally wouldn't read into it either way to much. I'm inclined to believe something is going on in the background from the things I've seen/been shown and also heard over the last few weeks. But I may be completely wrong.

I think Gelhardt needs to go back out wide if he has to be on the pitch. Think he tries to do too much on his own and it's not coming off for him at the moment. He gets closed down and caught in possession there too often. When we are struggling at that end of the pitch so much we need someone who at the very least keeps the ball moving and looks for teammates. I'd probably opt for Crooks.

Destiny 2 did that for me, was a shame.

People deny things in football constantly and that it happens, as I say....I may be completely wrong. But whether you want to believe it or not, people passing on info isn't bizarre and you only think that because you don't believe it, it it was something you wanted to hear then you'd be lapping it up as you have done before.
