Wouldn't mind McAtee though, his profile makes a lot of sense although not sure how Sheff Utd fans feel about him. Might take a look

What happened to Tierney for Arsenal? Was it injury issues or did his full back style not match with the “Pep style” that Arteta employs?

A mix of both in the end, I think. He's very much a winger (from his Celtic youth days) who converted to full back and his game is pace, power, tenacity. Not the best passer. And not reliable fitness-wise.

I think he suffers a bit from the same problems Wilshere experienced where he actually has never been taught how to train without being at 110% and pushing himself too hard. And then he breaks down again.

Went on loan to Real Sociedad this season and was starting early in the season, was then sidelined for weeks and weeks and got stuck on the bench when he came back.
 
In all seriousness - how much activity are we expecting prior to the end of the Euros ? How many signings have happened so far ?
 
Whilst we keep getting linked to ex players, I have a friend who is a business acquaintance of Jose Fonte, and told him it would be a dream ending, to finish his career playing for Saints next season.

Who are the four (or three 'definites'?) - guessing Tierney and Hojberg might be (but their next move will likely see half that) but none of the others seem to be on that sort of money. Smith-Rowe contract is £40k p/w.

Get the bloke back in the building as a player/defensive coach, he's a proven winner who has got his coaching badges.
