If we want a speedy wide man at Championship level who can provide some quality, Chris Willock is refusing to re-sign for QPR at the moment.

TBF let's not forget that Ollie Watkins came from Exeter when he joined Brentford and worked his way up to Villa and regular international football.

 

True but Watkins had been watched by top clubs for a couple of years. This guy? Totally out of the blue with little track record.

Could be a gem out of the blue. Unlikely for me but would be pleased to be proven wrong.

 

I read Millwall have bought Langstaff, a prolific scorer down the leagues. He could be a Watkins equally he could be a Watters.

Not a huge number of goals and assists, but looks a steady performer, and looking at the number of games he plays, a robust player. A good age too.
Hopefully we'll see him holding a city shirt soon.

Someone’s mentioned Kasey McAteer (son of Jason) from Leicester as a rumoured interest.

Who puts out these rumours?I suppose it’s safest to just ignore them until the club website sends an official message…..
