Would seem to be an obvious 'link' but if there is any truth in the Ajax story then no wonder he would be hesitant about moving.

If however that wasn't true, then it would be a good move for him and I'd assume a relatively low risk one for us to try. Worst case scenario is that we'd end up sending him back on loan to Kortrijk if he looked out of his depth at the top end of the Championship level (confident, moi?? :emoticon-0142-happy).

Potentially well worth a punt though.

Bulut said signing due last night or this morning.
I read somewhere that his and Chambers' medicals were booked in for today.

Well Ralls looks knackered - can’t help feeling he’ll be a spare part this coming season

    Turnbull just looks strange :emoticon-0138-think

This Chambers rumour is an interesting one.
He's looking for regular first team football and won't be a cheap option so won't be sitting on the bench.
Goutas is Erol's man and had a good season last year. McGuinness is a rising star.

So, is McGuinness on his way out, or will Erol go 3 at the back? (I've still not looked to see what Erols preferred formation is).
It would certainly free up Ng and Collins to get further forward. Or is Ng on his way out? Chambers can play RB.

Or is the link with Chambers just a load of guff?

    Who knows.

So Clingo, never mind has Willock signed yet, has Chambers signed yet?

    Son of Pierre van Hooijdonk.

He was a very good striker 20 odd years ago. Played for some high level clubs across Europe - and the Tricky Trees!!!

I wonder if Rambo is exerting any influence over Chambers as they were both at Arsenal at the same time.

We will have 4 centre backs when Tsunoda is fit.

I'd say Goutas and McGuinness will be our best option atm.

I think Chambers will be a utility player filling in a number of positions.

Just hope he's not a replacement for Ng.

One of our problems last season was injuries leaving us thin at the back on several occasions. Cover is essential.

OK, Clingo is happy now Willock has signed.
    My turn. Chambers please.
    Another free agent apparently.
Could be some solid business being done and leaving some cash for a striker.<cheers>

Get Adams gone (nothing against him, and possibly better than others we need shot of) and a bit more pruning to balance the squad.

Still hoping the tyros are blended in and get some game time this year. Davies especially.

A good first signing and yes, let's get the Chambers thing done so that out top scorer from last season can play up front (and consequently, more prediction league points for me) <laugh>
