If we'd have done this a month ago we'd all have been happy, but once again actions have contradicted words and we're all a bit puzzled

I think what happened is last Friday is was pretty clear that Bedia isn't the answer to whatever the question is. Now I'm not totally writing the big man off. I think he offers something. But he's not your main man.

Even more telling was Burstow didn't get off bench warming duties.

Not writing players off just yet after a couple of performances, I personally think they're confused by Walter's tactics ( just like me !), we need more then just lumping balls into the box and hope for the best, while Bedia is a big lad so are the majority of championship central defenders, he'll cause em problems but he won't provide miracles.

agreed…they don’t know what to do…confused.com I think….statistically they can’t all be bad players lol….so it’s the system or the coaching….or BOTH

But unfortunately they're still here, so now we'll have 3 strikers, and none of them are down as 'the answer'

We'll be getting a similar situation to the gk one soon

TBF any of the 3 GKs we have id be happy with as #1. All 3 are very decent championship keepers

Agreed. I think there is more to come from 'the venerable' Bedia - but as you say, not up to being the main man - yet,

He scored 10+ goals each season in his last three seasons in Serie A. Didn’t do great at Fenerbahçe or in Brazil but we’re desperate for another striker and he can score goals at a high level. I just wonder what his physical condition is like.

Yeh thats what I was wondering, if he is in decent condition he will probably offer something closer to Glatzel then what we've got in terms of all around quality but thats a big If. I'd also worry that it means we aren't going to properly fix the issue in January, we could loan out Burstow to make space I guess.

He’s been utterly woeful since he left Italy. Awful for Fenebache and can’t get a game for Gremio. There’s some sort of mental problem with him I tbink.
