No one would be unhappy with Darlow, I just don’t think people understand why we need him. If we’d signed him instead of Racioppi then fine.
Acun’s raved about pandur (who hasn’t done much wrong since the season started)
Racioppi Won’t have come to be possible 3rd choice.

Darlow makes no sense

We've signed Racioppi and Pandur as more long term assets. To develop and profit from over the next 2-3 years. The feeling is obviously that an experienced loan will help achieve that whilst providing a more immediate short term option.

Do we know what TW thinks of our current keepers? How do we know he hasn't asked for a keeper of greater experience to come in? It doesn't matter how many of us think Darlow (if it is him) is a waste of a loan spot, what matters is what TW wants

Well in fairness that would have beaten a lot of keepers.

Doesn't do it at a higher level though, does he? Not with any regularity unfortunately for him. Shame really, great attitude and engine on him, just couldn't add that little bit extra that would keep him in the championship

Well he is showing he can now and is Captain, but that is like saying Hughes was League 1 but he is with us now, so we’re the Ipswich players but they are not with us now they passed us typical League 1 players eh.

Think doc has had plenty of opportunity at a higher level and he's a very good player at the level he's now at. They made him captain too. He'll rightly play every week for them.

Burstow and Hughes have time on their side, though it's fair to say Mason struggled at this level last season. But then there was a lot of instability and pressure on the kid at Sunderland. Doc by comparison is in his prime years, so needs to be playing and no championship club would take him.

Please think of two twenty goals a season strikers we're going to sign. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.

a few months back i inadvertently developed this ability to make people appear just by thinking about them, not instantly, but as soon as possible at the next place i'd normally see them, even if they hadn't been there for a long time. i'd no idea it had expanded to football, but i'll see what i can do.

Not having that orange, acun wanted pandur in goal last season. Racioppi played champions league last season, no way do he come to be possible 3rd choice.
We’ve got Tim and Cartwright as long term prospects.
