Hardly think we need transforming. Starting back 4 I would be happy with. Just need the depth a bit, but guess Burns is a CB too.

Totally agree, think he will fit into our system of play perfectly, was the one I hoped we would get done.
I guess it depends how this 4 click and also work in the new system. We’ve looked dodgy in both competitive games so far.

Three centre halfs at the back, two wing backs....It's the future.
We only had the 9th best defence in the league last season and the 9th best attack in terms of goal difference, our defensive stability under Rosenior was a bit overrated in all honesty

Okay that sounds obvious but i mean
If we conceded, wed usually not score enough
We conceded first a heap last season, if we cut down on that we'll go a long way to winning.
When we played against teams who pressed us, we’d attack a lot better but we’d also concede more.
It worked long term in the way we played as we’d score a lot of goals late on as we’d grind teams out but we just would rarely score multiple when on top. Cardiff in both fixtures and the home game against QPR are the only games we did really
Have we ever done that? Signed a player and then just not announced it until they've rocked up in the squad? I know it happens in pre season with trialists and the like, but way back when it must have been a common occurrence?
Closest was Millar being announced via shirt numbers which was brill. Some might call that over the top ****ery though.
