Isn't scott twine training with Bristol City after his loan deal last season, surely they would swap twine plus cash for Conway if they are interested in him

Twine is back with Burnley at the moment. Some have suggested the same swap but I guess that Conway will hold a lot of the say

Acun getting his PR / Media skills out, tactical dropping of stories prior to the Q&A tomorrow.
He’ll ride into the meeting tomorrow on a white steed, pulling a cart with six new signings in. His opening gambit, will be, right you ****s what you all pissing the bed over!

… or maybe not.

Burns played most of last year as a DM for Stevenage. Looks like Man City still see him as a CB. Not going to pretend I know anything about him but I'm assuming if he's played in midfield he's okay on the ball and in midfield areas of the pitch.

He has senior experience though so as a depth option it makes sense

Yep, I think it's a really good profile but I don't get why it wasn't done weeks ago, he didn't go on pre-season tour with them.

And a straight loan doesn't make much sense, he's 21 now, surely we could at least get a buy option in there.

It's so short term again.

Today seems to be the day where the big Prem clubs are beginning to let young players leave, Gilchrist from Chelsea to Sheff U and Micah Hamilton from Man City to Boro another couple happening

Its annoying it has to be done really but it is a sign of the times. Entitlement of people to demand the answers to things that are not really any of their business. It would be different if Tim had come out and said 'Acun is not backing me' or if players were handing in transfer requests or spouting once they have left about what a terrible club it is but they're not. To me it looks like a simple re-build of a squad that was littered with signings made by an over excited new owner.

A proper manager has come in and been trusted with the job of building from the bottom up again. He knew it was needed and didnt trust Rosenior to do it which is fair enough.
The basis of people spreading rumours about Acun appears to be because he has not spoken in public about City for 2 weeks. Something it was suggested might be better he did more often and let Tan and the Manager do the talking.

Boro won't take Hamilton without a buy option though. They either want him permanently or a loan to buy.

Agree with that, Man City just know how good their younger players are especially as they’re trained in the modern way so suit top teams more then say lower league sides so they’ll never do it as they know how much these players can be worth in a season. Think Delap could’ve been 2-5m last season after his season with us it’s triple

Maybe that is why Man City are not selling him?
We may well have asked for option to buy but being knocked back.

Now that Klopp has gone do we still have a relationship with LFC?...Jayden Danns looked a handful in a few FA Cup games last season...Knew where the goal was. Any chance on loan, unless he's already gone somewhere.
