There will probably be a sell on, it’s up to us and Leeds to agree a compensation fee between us and if we don’t, it then goes to tribunal, where they usually put a sell on as part of the fee, although the up front cost is normally pretty trivial when this happens.
There’s also only compensation due if Leeds offered him a new contract and their manager did an interview for Leeds Live or the YP with a photo of him stood outside his house displaying his best compo face.
We've agreed a fee with Leeds and they were entitled to compensation as they did offer him a new deal.

Totally agree with this.
As much as I would havr liked to see (many) more through the door by now, it's not a reason to keep deadwood around that we'd struggle to shift.
Sometimes things don't time perfectly and we'd probably have a 1 in 1 out ratio - but if you're getting money for the likes of allsop, ingram and lokilo, you're not going to say 'hold on til we sign someone' because we might end up with an even more bloated squad, or letting them go for free!
Really happy with the pace we've offloaded sh*te this window.
