Drameh was out of contract this season, Leeds offered him a new one to ensure they would receive compensation.

He upset Bielsa when he asked to leave or get first team football so he was sent out on loan, (Bielsa rated him but he wasn't ready).

Jesse Marsch hinted and suggested that he had poor attitude and if he got that right he would be a great player (Jesse wouldn't know a good player if they punched him in the mouth).

After his season at Luton on loan (and I think he was in the championship team of the season) Leeds fans wanted to see him start, we had just got relegated and we were going to have the best RB in the division but for some reason he just didn't fit with Farke and wasn't given a chance.

He didn't repeat his display at Birmingham but he was in a poor team and he certainly wasn't poor.

I'd have taken him back at Leeds, putting two and two together, I think he probably felt he was lied to about what chances he would be given.

Think he is a great signing at this level with room to improve

Close to 400 pages and I reckon that’s the most constructive comment I have seen on this thread. Thank you!

Yes,it's very constructive and nice of the poster to come on and give us his take ...I'd like to see us adopt this approach in the coming week or so(seasoned championship level players with a bit of youth on their side and something to prove)

Let's not kid ourselves though,we haven't had much to get excited about, have we?

I disagree, in Hull anyone that asks me who I support I tell them City, outside of the city I always tell them Hull, not one person has mistook this for Hull FC. Sadly I'm of the opinion that rugby league is the predominant sport in the city, especially with Rovers recent 'success'. Allam blew a glorious chance to win and keep a generation, and their kids, over to City. Aside from the obvious see how many true City supporting pubs you'll find in Hull, even the likes of Ebenezer's is really a horse racing pub. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Rovers havent won a trophy since 85. If that is recent success I am feeling much younger this morning! Joking aside you are right though, it is noticable how many pubs joined the bandwagon during the Premier League seasons have now reverted to catering for Rugby fans....or closed down!

Assuming it happens, seems like a decent signing and one that we've done quite well to pull off.
Having said that, he appears to have fallen out at Leeds earlier as he wanted first team football. As a RB here he'll be competing with our captain Coyle?! Wonder how that's gonna work? Of course we need minimum 2 options for each position, but one isn't going to be happy, and although I know Coyle can play in other positions when really needed, I really don't see him being used elsewhere as CB, LB, midfield roles don't really suit him.

Baz is saying Emre Mor and Song Min-kyu are wide of the mark. Odd as the Song Min-kyu seem to have some validity.

Then you remember the countless reports about not being interested in Tetteh...

Not saying Baz is wrong at all but even his contacts will play games with him/us. Wide of the mark is open for interpretations too, could mean nothing in it at all or premature, or the details aren't quite right.

It could be the club are trying drying to dampen expectations at this stage.

Good to sign a player in a position we already have a first team player.

Said with no attitude.

It is a position we needed to strengthen in and I think is a very good signing. I suppose it feels the urgency is in other areas, but as and when these signings come in then I think we will look back at how this signing was such good value.

Yes I was being somewhat tongue in cheek as this signing has been expected for about three weeks and isn't even a crucial position but no doubt will now he treated as excellent and silencing the doubters.

I know what you’re saying that there’s more pressing issues but I guess it’s just a nature of how the deals have come about right now. We did need another RB and if Drameh was available now then get it done rather than hunt for the Striker or LW and let Drameh go elsewhere.

It’s early doors but if this is the nature of signings the “brain team” are doing then I’m all for saying I was wrong in my recent criticisms. That being said there’s still a long way to go

It is good business and whether we need a left winger centre mid or a striker more, still needed good competition at right back which we now have

Of course we do but we still need players in those other roles and an essentially free transfer should have been done weeks ago particularly as it was reported as being nearly done weeks ago.

I'm just anticipating people saying this is proof not to worry when it is nothing of the sort it's a transfer expected weeks ago.
