Close to 400 pages and I reckon that’s the most constructive comment I have seen on this thread. Thank you!

Yes,it's very constructive and nice of the poster to come on and give us his take ...I'd like to see us adopt this approach in the coming week or so(seasoned championship level players with a bit of youth on their side and something to prove)

Let's not kid ourselves though,we haven't had much to get excited about, have we?

Decent lad, Ristac (for a Leeds fan<laugh>). Always comes across as sensible.

Rovers havent won a trophy since 85. If that is recent success I am feeling much younger this morning! Joking aside you are right though, it is noticable how many pubs joined the bandwagon during the Premier League seasons have now reverted to catering for Rugby fans....or closed down!

Assuming it happens, seems like a decent signing and one that we've done quite well to pull off.
Having said that, he appears to have fallen out at Leeds earlier as he wanted first team football. As a RB here he'll be competing with our captain Coyle?! Wonder how that's gonna work? Of course we need minimum 2 options for each position, but one isn't going to be happy, and although I know Coyle can play in other positions when really needed, I really don't see him being used elsewhere as CB, LB, midfield roles don't really suit him.

Good to sign a player in a position we already have a first team player.

    Said with no attitude.

It could be the club are trying drying to dampen expectations at this stage.

Maybe not the right person to ask at this point in time...

He appears to be having some sort of attitude related prepubescent meltdown:emoticon-0148-yes:

It is a position we needed to strengthen in and I think is a very good signing. I suppose it feels the urgency is in other areas, but as and when these signings come in then I think we will look back at how this signing was such good value.

You're right. What if our left winger gets injured?

Yes I was being somewhat tongue in cheek as this signing has been expected for about three weeks and isn't even a crucial position but no doubt will now he treated as excellent and silencing the doubters.

I know what you’re saying that there’s more pressing issues but I guess it’s just a nature of how the deals have come about right now. We did need another RB and if Drameh was available now then get it done rather than hunt for the Striker or LW and let Drameh go elsewhere.

It’s early doors but if this is the nature of signings the “brain team” are doing then I’m all for saying I was wrong in my recent criticisms. That being said there’s still a long way to go

It is good business and whether we need a left winger centre mid or a striker more, still needed good competition at right back which we now have

He likes to get his foot in doesn't he? Get's fouled a lot after the balls gone too. Can see why they wanted to keep him.

Of course we do but we still need players in those other roles and an essentially free transfer should have been done weeks ago particularly as it was reported as being nearly done weeks ago.

I'm just anticipating people saying this is proof not to worry when it is nothing of the sort it's a transfer expected weeks ago.
