Orange has applied to be pr manager i suppose
There'll be no PR from me if we don't make positive signings, but do you seriously think we won't?

Just wait and see, then if it's ****, it's ****.

Until then, you're just looking like you're pursuing a personal agenda - which to be fair, would be standard for you.

Sounds good on paper but I imagine the problem is that every one we're interested in has an agent trying to squeeze as much as possible out of us and even the "cheap" signings would be easy to find outselves overpaying for.

Something might have to budge somewhere along the line and maybe we will have to overpay for a couple in order to get things moving. Which is why I think it's wrong for people to suggest there's absolutely nothing to worry about.
It's amazing other clubs that sell players somehow cope.

I just wonder if Lee Darnbourgh's departure has had some influence on deals we are trying to get over the line? I see Stoke have bought V Johannson the goalkeeper from Rotherham for a £1m, when you look at what we paid for Pandur, he may well have been a better buy.
That’s a great signing by Stoke. I really rate him as a keeper. He had a lot of practice in goal for Rotherham last season.

So when is the deadline
Despite the gloom, if we are sat here in 2 weeks with;

- Rak-Sakyi
- McConnell
- Crespo
- Bree
- Yokoslu
- Archer
- New Centre Back
- Centre forward to change Championship dynamic
- 2 others

…we’d feel a bit more optimistic :emoticon-0112-wonde
Why would Yokuslu come here while top 4 of Turkey is chasing him.

4 weeks ago we were discussing about playoffs, now there are 3-4 pages of relegation discussion.

If we can't get players next week, we will start to discuss building 2nd league squad and preparing for next season.

Is there a parachute payment?

Let's hope that youth ranks can produce couple of starters, that might save us.

I have been thinking similarly. I have no idea if we have anyone in the recruitment team now who has as good a working knowledge of affordable talent in the EFL as I suspect Darnborough had. I might be wrong, but the evidence thus far supports your point.

Pandur came from team Acun previously owned, which has Turkish shareholders. If something is fishy, address is clear.
