It’s worth taking a few minutes to consider this.

Imagine buying a house.

Now imagine buying 12 houses in 3 months. Add to that each “house” has different terms and individual circumstances that influence the sale. Add to that other buyers who might try to gazump or disrupt a sale.

this isn’t FM or FIFA. **** takes time

Generally when I play FM I look at what my squad may look like next year but that's just me

People are acting like we didn't know we'd be in this position for months. We knew who we were losing and who we'd be releasing so it makes this situation a complete ****show.

It's also exhibit A as to why we won't ever be successful under the current regime, they can't plan their way out of a paper bag. This isn't the result of 1 window either, it's the result of multiple chaotic windows and a high turnover of players.

Bingo

I bet if Tan reads this forum, he just thinks ‘why do I bother explaining?’

Tim Walter and the team aren’t even back in the country yet and people are expecting signings to have happened since that interview.

Give your heads a wobble and calm down.
The Microsoft outage has apparently meant us missing out on 7 players who all signed for clubs that use apple macs. It's a complete mess, surely we should have apple macs and Microsoft based laptops too?

It doesn't matter how long we knew about it. All we could do was make decisions on the players leaving, because that's what we could control.

Most football contracts are 2-3 years, so most clubs have a near complete turnover of players in that time. The ownership has been here what, 2 1/2 years now so it's just a fact of life that those contracts would be coming to an end or decisions made on renewals this seàson.

On the one hand you're calling recruitment scattergun and Ill thought through whilst in the same breath panicking like **** that they're not rushing into signing simply for the sake of numbers.

It's a complete contradiction. No wonder they can't ****ing win, well that and your unreal expectations and lack of practical experience of concluding any deal, let alone a 7 figure one for a human asset, with its own mind, agency and which comes with its own timescale.

I repeat, only 1 has left that we didn't expect to. The vast majority who've left that we had control of - most would have had no issue with up to now.

There's the majority of the window left and we all know that most business is done towards the end. Were not top of the food chain and we have to wait for dominoes to fall or make do with players no one else is interested in. Simple as that. You can't have it all ways. It's not ****ing FIFA.
