Identify yourself old bean. I suspect something fishy. It must be hard work for Baz trying to cobble some copy together out of this lot.

I think this 80% thing is another case of Acun getting taken too literally and his words over-analysed. He probably said the 80% thing to make the point that Tim Walter is being choosy in a good way, in the context of why we aren't rushing to sign any old players as soon as possible. I seriously doubt the specific figure is actually accurate, he's probably just come up with a number off the top of his head.
Apart from acun, tan, Baz and Mike whitePandur is not an upgrade on Ingram, nobody on this forum has ever seen him play. Ingram has proved himself a capable and dependable goalkeeper at this level, when he’s left to keep the ball out of our net and not expected to pretend he’s Pirlo.
I'm not sure he would have spent much time on each player. Its the equivalent of two blokes sat outside Divas watching women walk past and saying 'would you do her'. Tim will be just giving a quick nod or shake of the head.No it literally means 32 players have been put forward and Mr Walter has only agreed to 4 of them.
Whichever way you look at it it’s terrible. The manager needs to be allowed to manage and bring in the players he want rather than wasting lots of time on players he doesn’t care about.

Well 358 pages on inane drivel. We should rename this thread to something more appropriate.

I think with this particular analogy, in most cases, the percentages would be reversed.I'm not sure he would have spent much time on each player. Its the equivalent of two blokes sat outside Divas watching women walk past and saying 'would you do her'. Tim will be just giving a quick nod or shake of the head.

Don’t bother reading all the ****e until Page 1 says a new player has signed. What's the point in the club putting anything out at all when every little piece of info gets dissected, contorted and fleshed out with conjecture to the point it has to be a bad thing?
I find not knowing anything about transfers quite relaxing. What's the point in the club putting anything out at all when every little piece of info gets dissected, contorted and fleshed out with conjecture to the point it has to be a bad thing?
Just an observation old bean, nothing more, nothing less.Identify yourself old bean. I suspect something fishy.

I’ll start to be interested when the line up against Bristol is announced, and I’ll start having vague thoughts about where we’ll end the season after the transfer window closes.
…although I am sat in the sun having a large glass of Havana 7 and an even larger cigar!
Don’t be a prick. On the northeast coast? That’s us out then.
