We’re poorly-run because it’s yet another massive squad overhaul under this owner and there’s no long-term planning. We’ve gone from vindictive ownership who hated the fans to incompetent ownership that gives away lots of freebies and does silly gimmicks to appease the plebs. Like having one Roman Emperor who is an unpopular despot being replaced with another Emperor who is insane and pisses away all the treasury’s gold on frivolities but ‘hey, he does put on a good gladiator show, doesn’t he?’.

Acun hitting reset doesn't mean there's no long term planning... For all we know Walter relished the idea of a full rebuild when approached. At least he'll have his stamp on things from the start. Should hopefully prevent us from 'wasting' the players we do have?

I'd be gobsmacked if nothing's been going on behind the scenes for quite some time and I imagine there's a long term plan in mind. They've been exploring developing the stadium and surrounding land etc for example...

I reckon Oscar can still do a job. When he was on form he was scoring for fun. Give him a chance. Also we have no idea who we will sign this summer. We could get some really good players in yet. I don’t get all this doom and gloom **** that some are coming out with. Don’t they remember all the ****e we had to put up with the previous owner. Let’s support Acun and the team and see what they can build. If we don’t have a team at the end of the month I’ll be worried. At the moment I am looking forward to seeing who comes. All this bollocks about you can’t have a good team with all new players is exactly that, bollocks.
Cheer up for ****s sake and get behind Tim and any new larkers that pull on the jersey.
Scored more in his first season here than Philogene did

Spoke to a couple of lads at Castle Hill this morning and the feeling was pretty similar. I tend not to get too up or down about City these days but I feel a season of consolidation is probably around the corner.

Only a feeling but I feel consolidation would be good but more likely a fight at the bottom of the table.
Just don't feel confident for next season at all.

Poorly run.....???... where are we poorly run on any level. In January last year when Acun gave the manager everything, were we poorly run then..... we all knew the keeper was going (somehow we managed to get good money) we all knew JG and JP were going (and we seem to have secured good deals for them... Seri, some thought myself included might be a target (and chances are we'll get good money for him). We all knew Doc was going and we have got good money. We all knew Longman was likely to be going and it looks like we'll make a profit on him. So, that leaves Tufan who were all sorry to se go, but **** happens... I think we should bookmark this day for all the bleating and show it to people at the end of August. Poorly run.... FFS!!!

As for Giles BTW in essence if he's going he never signed as such... other than a bit of paper..

Anyway.

Don't you think he gave the manager everything in January in a serious attempt at getting out of the Championship, hence the reason he gave Rosenior the heave-ho and threw a hissy fit at his Q&A.

Greaves,Philogene and Seri(if he goes) are going to cost serious money to replace in terms of quality, will the money be forthcoming to replace them in terms of their quality and contribution to our play or is the intention to backfill with Loanees for a season?

How much is good money for Seri ?and how much 'good money' did we get for Docherty???

There's going to need to be some SERIOUS work and investment over the next few weeks just to put a starting 11 out on the pitch,if not,it's a **** show for sure!!!

I remain hopeful but some posters questions are valid and posters are entitled to ask them...

A shot show is very unlikely given the lack of strikers.

I'm happy to see Oscar back - but am concerned about how he now views the club given he's been messed around over the last year.
I suppose you have to ask the following:
Who booted you out?
And, Are they still here?
If the second answer is a honest NO, then he’s got a clean slate, and in theory, so should the club

One of the main problems with a big squad overhaul is that when signing new players there are always some that don't work even if on paper they seem a perfect fit. The more new players signed the more that won't work.

That’s the case with the players we’ve jettisoned too though.

Doch was out of contract, we got nothing for him.

They need to explore developing the stadium and surrounding land a tad quicker, two and a half year and counting. :emoticon-0125-mmm:
