Once he realises he can now spend more time running towards the opposition penalty box and not his own he'll be fine. With hopefully more balls knocked into dangerous areas this is his chance to prove the doubters wrong,

Poorly run would be asset stripping or getting us into serious financial debt in my opinion, neither of which is happening right now - we know that it's not happening. Yes, the transfer windows can be chaotic for better and for worse, but we've got a new manager who likes to attack and although we've had outgoings, we're going to be building a new squad in line with what Walter wants/needs. As for optimism, then that's purely down to what you'd prefer to dwell on and how far you want to read between lines that aren't necessarily there. It's exhausting keeping up with it all but it'll certainly be interesting, probably exciting to see. Absolutely no idea if it'll work or not, and nobody knows how our season will go until we start getting into it.
Poorly run.....???... where are we poorly run on any level. In January last year when Acun gave the manager everything, were we poorly run then..... we all knew the keeper was going (somehow we managed to get good money) we all knew JG and JP were going (and we seem to have secured good deals for them... Seri, some thought myself included might be a target (and chances are we'll get good money for him). We all knew Doc was going and we have got good money. We all knew Longman was likely to be going and it looks like we'll make a profit on him. So, that leaves Tufan who were all sorry to se go, but **** happens... I think we should bookmark this day for all the bleating and show it to people at the end of August. Poorly run.... FFS!!! As for Giles BTW in essence if he's going he never signed as such... other than a bit of paper..
I'm happy to see Oscar back - but am concerned about how he now views the club given he's been messed around over the last year. Is he really going to be arsed busting a gut for his last season for when he's been shipped out on loan twice? We'll see. I guess alternatively he could see it as his chance to impress in England and get another big deal.
Same here. Been going for 40 years and I'd be surprised if we could be considered 'well-run' for even a quarter of that time.
We’re poorly-run because it’s yet another massive squad overhaul under this owner and there’s no long-term planning. We’ve gone from vindictive ownership who hated the fans to incompetent ownership that gives away lots of freebies and does silly gimmicks to appease the plebs. Like having one Roman Emperor who is an unpopular despot being replaced with another Emperor who is insane and pisses away all the treasury’s gold on frivolities but ‘hey, he does put on a good gladiator show, doesn’t he?’.
I reckon Oscar can still do a job. When he was on form he was scoring for fun. Give him a chance. Also we have no idea who we will sign this summer. We could get some really good players in yet. I don’t get all this doom and gloom **** that some are coming out with. Don’t they remember all the ****e we had to put up with the previous owner. Let’s support Acun and the team and see what they can build. If we don’t have a team at the end of the month I’ll be worried. At the moment I am looking forward to seeing who comes. I’ve actually got a better analogy. The Allams were Cromwell. Acun is Charles II. The latter looks better than the former in comparison but the latter was still a **** king. In fact, this analogy is pretty spot on. Charles II was an affable guy but he was a spendthrift who wasted money both domestically and on foreign wars.
How did you know theres no planning. The new manager in signing will have said, I want a,b,c,d,e ... none of whom anyone knows about. There is an untypical quietness on names which is great to see and as others have said, we will likely have 12 names through the door, before the end of August. Next season we will lose more, it happens if youre successful.
