Acun hitting reset doesn't mean there's no long term planning... For all we know Walter relished the idea of a full rebuild when approached. At least he'll have his stamp on things from the start. Should hopefully prevent us from 'wasting' the players we do have?

I'd be gobsmacked if nothing's been going on behind the scenes for quite some time and I imagine there's a long term plan in mind. They've been exploring developing the stadium and surrounding land etc for example...
But have they turned up for any of the meetings with the council yet?

So Óscar has scored a few goals for us but he’s crap at pressing and his general link-up play is quite poor. If we’re banking on him being a big player for us, my worry only increases.

Every bit of news that is coming out from the club right now has just been negative or uninspiring.
He’s been away for a while, they always come back better

I suppose you have to ask the following:
Who booted you out?
And, Are they still here?
If the second answer is a honest NO, then he’s got a clean slate, and in theory, so should the club

Possibly - but the 'brains team' is still here. That's whats interesting, who made that decision, because we were told Rosenior wasn't as involved in transfer activity?

No chance. We have made mistakes but if we were poorly run we wouldn’t have a sellable asset in Philogene.

But the money for Jaden's transfer fee came indirectly from selling KLP but it seems like we won't be able to spend the Jaden fee as it'll have towards past losses. I'd much rather be in the position we were 2 years ago than the position we're in now.

Of course but I think they’re acknowledging that now hence they’re not going to blow it all this season and build an actual squad beyond this season as well versus going all out yet again

I can't be arsed to look....but, are we in that different a position compared to early July last year? we didn't have any of the loan players in by this point I don't think, ally, tetteh and oscar were in their way out leaving us with no striking options.....not sure we'd signed any or many perms at this point either
