I can think of loads more interesting questions a journalist could ask a new manager other than ‘rumour is the club are interested in this player, is that true?’.
What happened to quality not quantity? I guess we'll only know if that worked out or not around November. Are any of these new signings any good?
All those questions and he still hasn’t asked the important one - are you a red and white or black and white?
Maybe last year Baz was in the know on most things, buy this year maybe the watch word was 'we're in for X but dont tell Baz'... (or Mike White) and he feels left out... Another thing Baz if you're reading, dont take the piss out of someones name Ie Xavier Simons... its unprofessional ...
He wasn't taking the piss was he? He was acknowledging they'd been saying his name wrong and was now using the correct pronunciation that the lad uses.
I think he asks questions that he thinks the fans want to know the answer to He probably gets a lot of that from twitter which would be just a small minority of fans but my impression is that fans do care a lot more about potential signings than they used to
Fine, ask it once, even phrase the question as "The fans want to know ..." or "I've had a lot of messages asking ..." but not 4 times, it just (obviously) pissed Tim off. Which, as a journalist, is bad strategy.
The way he enunciates when saying Xavier is just smarmy and unnecessary. How was he mispronouncing it in the first place?
I get what you are saying it's the same with the Mrs the twat when she pronounces my name it always sounds like ****.
From what I remember of what they said on the other pod it was Zavier but they'd been corrected. **** knows, that was just what I understood from their comments.
Re t Yes "the beast" struck me as a someone who would be a bit of a handful. And like Harland probably would not do much other than score a hatrick every game-lay B.
Called him out for rewording and asking the same question about transfers 4 times before the Leeds game.
