Why would anyone want Walter to fail if he succeeds they succeed fans are happy.

I'm not sure people want Walter to fail specifically. There's just an aura of skepticism around the whole club and it's decisions. Everything is just a bit off. Loaning a player expected to have a ban, losing 63 goals and not doing enough to bring in players to replace them and the big one sacking your manager for finishing 7th but, the expectations are now way lower than 7th anyway. None of it makes sense. Yes, it's easy to say get over it but, those questions are there and skepticism of Acun etc is just there. I can't explain what the off feeling is. But, it does just feel off. To me it does anyway.

There's a lot of assumptions around this whole situation and it's probably a mountain being made out of a molehill, but supposing the players really are annoyed about the workload: it's easy to say they should get on with it and on a surface level that makes sense. But we've been through this before. Phil Parkinson was disliked by the senior players particularly for the way he came in and went mad on fitness levels, loads of training, ice baths and stuff. The squad never bought into him or his methods and it all went to ****. I doubt many people looking back would say he was right and the players should've gone along with it.
It's the best time to have them in for extra sessions. International break and no pressure on them to perform in games during the period.

It's about time the players were reminded how many hours their fans have to work. I'm doing OK but due to workload I'm still having to work 14/15 hour days at the minute. There are people working two jobs currently. If this is true about some players I'd have them doing a days work at Cranswick or Tesco warehouse and remind them of how most people have to perform day in day out.

I've a feeling Tim won't be troubled by whinging babies.

As well has having to build the understanding of his style Tim also has to build togetherness within the squad and a collective spirit.

Im not sure how he was expected to do this without all the players onboard. It will take time. Walter has been well liked by his players in previous jobs and players enjoy playing for him and I don’t see why it will be any different here.

Coyle is massively important for this role as well and I’m sure week by week better relationships will be built on and off the field.

Walter also had a reputation for being a bit prickly with the media and Baz had copped some of this, it shouldn’t, but it might be tainting his view right now.

I doubt at all expectations are lower than 7th do you really honestly think LR was only sacked because they thought his football was boring Acun wants Promotion now and patience is not his middle name.

For some reason I missed this YT compilation until just now.
Yep, only YT, but he looks a player.
Hopefully he's now signed and it's announced today. Anyone heard anything more?
Can we also please have that beast of a CF in those clips. The one who manages to stay on side and seems like a bit of a black Haarland!

I thought the same about the striker wearing number 10

He asked for it. Walter has stated in virtually every interview with Baz that he isn't going to talk about pending transfers. Baz then asks 4 almost identical questions in one interview, about pending transfers. Tim was a lot more polite than I would have been.

Baz just needs to put his big boy pants on, accept he got it wrong and move on. Sulking and stirring the pot will only end one way

I quite like Baz , he was definitely much more negative than usual in the latest podcast though

Somebody else mentioned Fletch saying the players were unhappy , he did but then said
it was just a rumour , so not something you should really repeat then with zero evidence

Having listened to the pod this morning IMHO it was a lot less negative/controversial than some seem to be making out on here and elsewhere.

They said the mood in the camp didn't seem as good as last year but then also said its probably as most of the players don't know each other yet.

I do agree Baz was a little negative, compared to how he usually is, but nothing at all over the top.

There is a reason he is working for Hull Live and not a proper sports outlet. I'm amazed he doesnt have one of those 'buy me a coffee' links on his twitter like so many pretend journalists have.

Was a lot of panty wetting on that podcast. Puerta, Belloumi, Hughes, Rushworth and Kamara haven’t played a minute between them this season. That’s 10m-15m in transfer fees and almost all of our reinvestment from Jaden and Greaves. As well as a couple of highly rated loans.

let’s let them have a run of games and an international break to get their feet under the table before suggesting Walter isn’t up to it.

He's now trying to stir up negativity with a twitter post saying he's not convinced by tim etc.... I bet he wouldn't be posting that tweet if tim hadn't put him back in his box the other day

I think Baz gets a lot of flack that’s underserved but in general I’m not convinced by him as a journalist. He’s continued to ask Walter questions about transfers all summer when Walter from the very beginning has said ‘I’m not going to comment on that’. Either he’s being told to ask these questions by his boss at HDM or he just can’t take a hint.

It’s crazy from someone who clearly knows everything that’s going on too. Could’ve heard all sorts about who’s impressing how things are going but shiny toy syndrome kicks in during the window and that’s all they focus on
