It was touted in the press and online that Acun was looking to buy NK Maribor of Slovenia via his media company - Acun Medya, but has the purchase ever been confirmed? I can find information about him speaking to Maribor about a possible purchase but no confirmation of a sale actually taking place.
Also weird that McVities are no longer sponsoring us, and no input financially from Murat Ulker.

Possible cashflow issues?
The new sponsor is a multi billion company

Safi Port indeed Fenerbahce sponsor, owner is part of board this year, elected with Acun. So it is not a long-term commitment, this kind of sponsorships are always dangerous. I'd prefer a one big company who is loyal to club to be honest. Literally Safiport has no business in UK market, a sponsor who is trying to intrude to market would be more beneficial in long term. They are just here, because Acun asked for, but you never know what they asking in return.

It is not multi-billion company. Billionaires list in Turkey is pretty thin.

I’m not saying the owners of it are, the company would be worth that though

Safiport was belong to state 9 years ago, it is actually called Derince Limanı. During intense privatization period of 3rd term of Erdogan, it is sold/rent to Safi Group (who are also founding member of Erdogan's party) for 39 years around 540 million USD. It was an era where Turkish lira was overvalued (1 GBP worth 4 TRY, now it above 40s), port probably worth 5 times less now. A good comparison would be Kalamis Limani (another port), which had privatization amount 600 millions in those years, now the offers were below 150 Millions USD made by Fenerbahce president's firm. Another example TV deal of Super League, which worth 500 millions in that year, now it is around 100Ms with all the USD inflation discarded.

So that port won't worth more than 150 Millions USD, unless Turkish Lira become valuable again.

Are they no longer ladybirds? PC gone mad. Anyway whatever they're called they weren't very lucky some years ago when there were millions of them in brid, you couldn't take a step on the promenade without killing hundreds of them. Probably late 60s or early 70s
Yes they are still ladybirds in the UK.
That’s not actually David Attenborough. It’ll be some Yank posting in his name using the American term.
Collective noun for ladybirds is still a loveliness though.

''A loveliess'' must be my favourite collective noun - closely followed by the collective noun for a group of Wednesday fans, ''a thicket''

Right back should be done soon they say. Funnily enough it’s probably the position we need the least. If it’s Bree though at least he’s versatile
