As others have said, Giles looked poor v FB. Ok, he was playing further up, but still. No pace to take on a man. Attempted crosses getting easily blocked. etc. There must be way more to him than we've seen, otherwise why would Boro be so keen on getting him back, and for a likely fee of £3+ million.

He knows he is going so didn’t want to pick up an injury.
It's a no brainer for him to buy the club through his company. He can transfer losses for tax relief, much easier to get a loan to purchase the club (which he did through his company) and it forms part of the group structure.

Are you sure that we are signing any internationals, I don't see too many options when I check players in Euro or Copa America.
It was touted in the press and online that Acun was looking to buy NK Maribor of Slovenia via his media company - Acun Medya, but has the purchase ever been confirmed? I can find information about him speaking to Maribor about a possible purchase but no confirmation of a sale actually taking place.
Also weird that McVities are no longer sponsoring us, and no input financially from Murat Ulker.

Turkish media says it happened already. Motive was to own a club that can feed Hull better than Shelbourne.
But there are also other things like close ties with Ceferin so we will see soon. Maribor fans have similar complain about lack of transfers, 2 players brought in so far, one is again Westerlo, where Turkish clubs offload their players owned by a Turkish fella.
