Doubt they’ll sell as he’s just signed a new deal until 2027 not long ago and they’re now in the same division.
Not all owners are like Acun where they’ll just bend over and sell players because the player wants to go.

More in spite of LRs playing style and smart arse comments tbh, not the gotcha moment you think that is really. More looking at the increased attendance and feel good factor, often at home that disappeared once Allsop had passed to Jones 1000 times by half time.

That number was flying around for weeks as the option/obligation number wasn't it?
EDIT: Baz's article says were were compelled to pay £4m for him.

Roary and Amber are due to join Flamingo Land zoo in a double-deal. The club hoped to keep them but both expressed a desire to work at Flamingo Land so Acun gave them his blessing at a reduced fee.
I think we are really protected by Acun’s ego. He needs us to succeed for his own image
I think Acun only has the 'we won't stand in their way' tactic when he knows someone's off. Makes sure good players know that they can come here and not be weighed down if we don't go up. Eg Philo

We really need to tread Caerphilly with these new signings or we could end up in a real pickle.
It is apparent that when he came in Acun had no idea of FFP and the constraints it places upon you. There again, a lot of our fans don’t either. Newcastle are finding you can have the richest owners in the world but cannot spend what you want.
The only way to increase spending is to up the commercial revenue and increase gate receipts. The only way to increase gates is to increase our admission prices, the lowest in the division virtually, or increase the capacity. Our fans won’t accept the first and the council will stand in the way of the second.
Where is all this hatred of acun coming from. I find it all exciting. Selling for a profit....new team building...ffs its better than being stagnant...I seem to recall people on here moaning about rosie ball. Let's give it 3 months into the season at least. Look what we have been through before..at least this time we are reinvesting rather than buying a new polo pony.
