We agreed averythig in janurary, loan deal, perm deal and contract. So since jan we know we are signing him whatever happens.
The boro interest has always been there, we took an age to complete the deal and now to move him on.
Surely there’s been enough time to say to Boro, we sign him on the 30/6, you need to complete the deal from us on the 1/7. We don’t need him at preseason. if they don’t then we keep him, it’s not like we don’t need him currently.

Normally selling for a profit and reinvesting would be exciting yes. However, we are currently at our bare bones of a squad with 30 days to go till Bristol City.
We have a new manager incoming with an all risk all reward style of play that takes a bit of time to make work.
Yes there are some being vitriolic but there is fair criticism to be had. Off the field Acun and the team have done wonders. On the field remains to be seen right now. On the latter we have all the ingredients to have a real boom or bust season. And to top it all off we keep getting news of players going.
We ****ed it last season going all in and have now the squad to show for that. Acun is a lucky man that Greaves developed into the player he has so we can sell him to reinvest.

They're spending really big on a lot of players with no Premier League experience, that's nigh on £60m on three players who played for us last season.

Not being pedantic but reading through the posts I can't see any 'hatred'.Yes,some are beginning to question some of what they see happening but it's not akin to hatred in my opinion?
I have to admit that I'm more of the opinion that owners come and go,the Club remains forever?,the sun does not shine from any of their arses in my book.
Acun Illicali is first and foremost a businessman,as was the previous incumbent,difference being that Acun has spent a lot of time on P.R and trying to get friendly with the fan base,to a large extent that's been successful thus far...If things start to go tits up,expect a change,that's football,that's commonplace and that's Hull City...
I bet Acun and team wish they could have done the Delap deal at 10 in January... its a huge jump for him class wise...
I don't think acuns ego would allow him to walk away... hatred was a strong word for me to use but there is so much negativity and panty wetting..we are nine days into the window. At least they have sold early so can replace...last lot would have waited till deadline day and bring someone in from league 1.
Not sure about you but I usually have a spare of something in the cupboard, so if I use it all before the weekend I have enough before I go back to the shops.
