If he ever manages to sort his mental side of the game out, he could be an amazing player. Unfortunately I'm not sure he will
He is a typical little fanny as we used to call them at school. Makes a squeeling sound if you so much as nip him. He ain't built for championship football.

Ohio has scored 2 goals in a total of 179 minutes, that's really quite impressive.

Isn't it a good example of how goal records don't always mean a lot, especially when you're looking at small numbers?

Essentially he's made one nice finish at Rotherham, and successfully charged down the keeper once. He may or may not be a good player but I think it's foolish to conclude anything based on those two goals alone.

4 points just from those two goals
Read it and weep

Yes, in reality it's absolutely meaningless, I just find it quite funny that he could potentially finish the season with the nest goals per minute ratio in the league.

I reckon we’ll sign him, he’ll play in the league cup game where the whole team plays ****, then in January he’ll go out on loan to league 1 citing him not being ready yet.

My tune has changed a little, he looked very good against Coventry. His hold up play, his runs in behind all looked very tidy and worthwhile. If he backs that up over the last two games then I'd hope we look at getting him in as a second/third striker.

I said this a while back. He has the attributes of a good Championship striker, he'll need a bit of time but due to FFP we have to be creative and rely on developing players instead of just buying ready-made ones like some can do.

It didn't help that he wasn't fit when he joined, I'd still like to see him strip a bit more off yet

How could he not be fit when he'd played 11 games this season for Standard Leige and 8 games for Netherlands U21 during 2023?!
Maybe 'not ready' for our style, but can't see how he could be so far off being fit?

Agreed, he’s not particularly technical, but that can be coached, especially at his age. He’s an absolute unit, clearly got a very good work ethic too as he’s barely been used and has always put a shift in even after been left out for a while.

His level of physicality is premier league level, pace and strength, he’d be a real asset and i reckon he’d not cost more then a million or 2.

He hadn't started a single game for them had he? He had barely played.

He started two games at the start of the season, played an hour in each and was dropped to the bench from then on. His total minutes from the bench were 136, so despite him barely getting a look in for us so far, he's still probably played more minutes for us than he would have for them. <laugh>

He could cause carnage running at defences, but he’s not going to do that here. He’d be much better off going elsewhere but I wouldn’t complain if we signed him for a reasonable price.

Would be interested how he’d play after a full pre season

Ohio is raw
But theres a good player there

Like i said
Not many players join a new country anf league in january and hit thr ground running
Especially younger players

He would get more and more used to the system as well as improve his touch
And he'd be cheap youd imagine
